David Sheridan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2008. Upon graduation, David worked as a Registered Nurse in a high-acuity neurological intensive care unit in Tucson, AZ.
In 2012, David graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Northern Kentucky University. Upon graduation, David worked in a primary care clinic, gaining knowledge and experience, treating multiple chronic conditions, many of which are important to consider to improve the outcomes of surgical patients. In 2013, David worked form Baylor Medical Center alongside the neurosurgery group assisting with hospital management or postoperative patient care. While working, he enrolled in and completed a Registered Nurse First Assist training program through the National Institute of First Assisting in 2013.
David holds certifications through the American Nurse Credentialing Center and the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing.
He has allied health privileges at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Methodist Hospital for Surgery in Addison, Baylor Scott and While Regional Medical Center at Plano, and Texas Institute for Surgery.
David joined Dallas Neurosurgical and Spine in 2015. He collaborates with Dr. Desaloms, both assisting in surgery and caring for patients in the hospital and office settings.
