Dr. Jeremy Denning, MD

Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained Neurosurgeon

A native Texan, Dr. Jeremy Denning graduated with honors from Howard Payne University with degrees in biology and broadcast journalism and attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, graduating first in his class. In medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and was awarded “Most Outstanding Student” in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Immunology, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Dr. Denning is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. His neurosurgical training included chief resident positions at The Methodist Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Ben Taub General Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and the Michael E. DeBakey Veteran’s Affairs Hospital.

Following his residency, he was awarded a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at New York University Medical Center in New York and a preceptorship in cerebrovascular surgery with Professor Juha Hernesniemi, Chairman of Neurosurgery, Helsinki University Central Hospital Töölö Hospital in Finland.

Dr. Denning is on staff at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Plano, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas — where he serves as Chairman of the Neurosurgical Department — and Methodist Hospital for Surgery.
