Michelle Fuller, MSN, RN, NP-C, RNFA, CNRN

Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner

Michelle graduated from Texas Woman’s University, Denton, in 1989 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She went on to graduate from Texas Woman’s University, Dallas, in 1998 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner. Following graduation she completed the Registered Nurse First Assist program in Taos, New Mexico.

Michelle worked at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas on the neurosurgical unit from 1989 until 1997. During her tenure, she served as preceptor to new nurses and unit charge nurse.

In 1997, Michelle joined Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine and in 1998 became the first Nurse Practitioner with the group.

In addition to assisting in surgery, Michelle collaborates with Dr. Weiner rounding on patients in the hospital and seeing patients in the office. She has served as research coordinator for numerous studies for which Dr. Weiner is the principal investigator.

Michelle has allied health privileges at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Texas Institute for Surgery, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and Forest Park Medical Center.

Michelle holds certifications by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing, and is a member of both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Neuroscience Nurses Association.
