I will absolutely recommend DNS to my friends and family. Dr. Satyan and his staff did an outstanding job. I have no suggestions as to how you might improve your practice. Honestly, there was nothing to improve upon. Great communication, quick responses and they were great at working with my schedule. Overall, I found Dr. Satyan, his staff, and the practice to be excellent.
Patient was diagnosed with cervical stenosis, cervical spondylosis and cervical radiculopathy.
My experience with Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine was excellent in every respect.
Dr. Jon Krumerman is a very compassionate and gifted physician and made my surgery and post-op care a very positive experience. I have already recommended him to family and friends.
Dr. Krumerman treated my cervical radiculopathy with neurosurgery performed 12/27/12. When I awoke from surgery 95% of my severe nerve pain was gone! I am now completely pain free! Dr. Krumerman took great care of me throughout the entire process. Thank you Dr. Krumerman.
Patient was diagnosed with cervical stenosis and cervical radiculopathy.
Dr. Krummerman and Nan are amazing. I had a spinal fusion in 2009 at C5 and C6. A month ago, I started having pain down my left arm and severe weakness.
I recognized the pain so I immediately called the office, of course, it was a Saturday, so I talked to an associate of Dr. Krumerman’s and he suggested I go to Dallas to the ER. I did and followed up with Dr. Krummerman and it’s now been 6 weeks and he got me through without surgery. Dr. Krummerman and Nan are so caring and compassionate I trust them with my life. Amazing, amazing people. The entire staff is excellent.
Patient was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy and cervical spondylosis.
Dr. Weiner performed my anterior spinal fusion 6 months ago. The pain and numbness were instantly relieved. Shelly was so helpful in making sure all appointments would work with my schedule and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. Dr. Weiner’s entire staff and the hospital staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Dr. Krumerman did surgery on my husband on December 29, 2009. He has an excellent bedside manner, was very friendly and his staff was always very caring and helpful. I can’t say often enough how wonderful it was to walk in your office and have Dr. Krumerman eliminate my husband’s pain.
It feels like we have our lives back and pain-free on top of that! A “Thank you” seems like it isn’t enough! The hospital was also very nice, cleaner than anyone I have ever been in and everyone that we saw or spoke to was smiling, was helpful and always asked if we needed anything! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the outstanding care we received and the wonderful experience!
I will definitely recommend DNS to my friends and family! Dr. Desaloms is amazing. He is so caring, and he really pays attention to you. He is upbeat and positive and really made me feel at ease with my surgery. He did a wonderful job (from my incision scar to the actual procedure) and I have zero complaints. Even the radiologists were praising him saying how great of a doctor he is, and how he makes everyone feel important. His entire office staff was also wonderful. Would DEFINITELY recommend him in a heartbeat!
I’d also like to give a special word of thanks to Eve for getting me in so quickly!

We would like to thank Dr. Jackson, Daphne, and Tina for the treatment my husband received.
They treated him with the best care we could have ever imagined and made him feel like he was their most important patient. He went to see Dr. Jackson after dealing with 2-3 years of pain in his neck area that had rapidly progressed in the past 6 months. Daphne scheduled our first appointment 2 weeks after I called to schedule it, then called with the first cancellation, and he was able to be seen much sooner than anticipated.
At that appointment, Dr. Jackson informed us that my husband would need anterior fusion surgery and bone spurs removed and that he had degenerative disc disease. He was in surgery within 2 weeks. Tina, Daphne and Dr. Jackson were extremely nice and responsive to all of my husband’s needs and understood the extent of my husband’s pain and discomfort.
I did extensive research before choosing Dallas Neurological and Spine, and I feel like I selected the best place for my husband’s procedure. It has been 3 weeks, and he has none of the pain, numbness, or weakness in his hands, arms, neck, and shoulders he was experiencing that was unbearable at times. We can not thank them enough or say enough kind words to describe the care he received.

I would definitely recommend anyone with uncontrollable seizures to seriously consider surgery. I was not in control of my seizures for years. I had changed medicines several times. I had reached the end of the road, and surgery was my only option.
I had left frontal lobe surgery 11 months ago and have not had a single seizure since. It is a great feeling to be able to take back control of my life. I deeply appreciate Dr. Desaloms and everyone involved. He has changed my life forever. I no longer fear possible seizures. I was always on edge that I could have one. But now, I have complete confidence that I will remain seizure free!
I could go on and on, but there will never enough words and thanks to say to everyone involved.
Dr. Michael Desaloms –
I want to thank you and your office staff for the kind and courteous, all the while professional care, you have provided for my husband.
I never wanted to need to know a top neurosurgeon, but I do now. I didn’t want to understand why one would be in the surgical Brain Suite, but I now do. I’d heard the words Gamma Knife, but didn’t feel the need to understand it any better until August of this year.
The last seven months have been a trying and unique road, every day with new adventures and changes, and challenges. Your willingness, in an unhurried fashion, to answer our questions and your acknowledgement of how I care for my husband are incredible. You have eased the impact of the difficult diagnosis and the changes that has brought about.
Every single person I have encountered in your office is great, they are prompt and efficient, courteous and caring.
Thank you for your professional skills and your kind and compassionate manner.
Patient was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astocytoma (Grade 3 Glioma)
A special thanks to Dr. Taub. He has gone above and beyond to ensure the best care for my son. He has gained the full trust and confidence of my son (21 years old) who’s world was turned upside down by the diagnoses of AA3 a few months ago. Dr. Taub is honest and “real” and very thorough. Thank you to Anita and Stephanie as well.
Patient was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis (with progression).
Dr. Taub, Thomas, and Colleen, you guys are the best! I cannot say enough about Dr. Taub, he is awesome! Back in November, Dr. Taub placed rods and screws from T2 to my pelvis for spinal fusion due to scoliosis. I have been to numerous surgeons in the DFW area and none can hold a candle to Dr. Taub.
I knew from my first visit with him that he was my surgeon for life. He and his staff (Thomas, Colleen, and others) have been very attentive to me and always seem to care. Wait times in the office are not lengthy, my calls are always return timely (most of the time by Dr. Taub or Thomas themselves). At each and every appointment I am not rushed, and Dr. Taub makes sure to answer each and every question that my husband and I have. He makes me feel like I am the only patient he has, even though that is not true. Even his stitch work is excellent. I rate my incision a 10 (10 being the best). Just weeks after surgery and you almost cannot even see it. I will have another surgery with Dr. Taub in 1 wk for cervical fusion, I know I am in good hands.
I have recommended DNS to my family and friends. You are doing an awesome job. Keep up the good work.
I was so nervous and scared after being diagnosed with a spinal mass, but Dr. Krumerman was very compassionate and friendly. He answered all my questions and discussed my options being uninsured, which is a huge burden for my family with much sensitivity. I left feeling hopeful and at peace. Thank you, Dr. Krumerman, you are a true example of what a doctor should be to his patients.
In November of 2009, I went for an MRI to find the cause of neck pain and mild tingling/numbness in my right hand. I had also been experiencing electric shocks going down both arms whenever I sneezed. The expected result of the MRI was some arthritis and perhaps a pinched nerve. The actual result was far more surprising. I had an ependymoma (tumor) embedded in the center of my spinal cord in my neck. I was told it was likely benign, but its location and size made it quite serious. Within 36 hours, I was seated in the office of Dr. Richard Jackson of DSN.
Although I was somewhat in shock and unable to completely comprehend the seriousness of my situation, I knew that as a lay person, unfamiliar with the medicine, I had a decision to choose a professional in whom I could put complete trust. I realized that all function below my neck traveled through that area.
After meeting Dr. Jackson and talking to my neurologist and others familiar with the medical profession in Dallas, I felt the confidence to move ahead. The final assurance came when a friend called who had spoken with someone who has been in the Dallas medical community for over 40 years and who had asked, “Who is her surgeon? Is it Richard Jackson?”
Ten days later I was in surgery. Throughout preparation, surgery, and follow-up I felt I had the full attention and care of Dr. Jackson and his staff. In recovery and rehab, not a day passed that I did not see him or his nurse practitioner, usually him. Upon returning home, I found that phone calls to the office were returned promptly.
On my most recent visit, which was a three-month checkup, after spending an unhurried and plentiful amount of time with me, he turned back as he was leaving the room and asked if he had answered all of my questions. When I realized after he left that I indeed did have one more, his nurse practitioner spent another five to 10 minutes patiently going over my concern.
Surgery is more than medicine. It is your life and future. Fear and vulnerability become familiar, and combating those feelings is part of the process. Dr. Jackson and his staff continually gave me time, conversation and hope along with reality and truth.
Patient was diagnosed with lumbar radiculopathy and lumbar herniated disc.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Desaloms and how his personal touch made such a huge impact in us preparing for a scary procedure as well as for helping my nervous wife during the wait of the surgery and in the recovery process.
Kim Wooldridge has also raised the bar for how medical business people should act doing their work. I have dealt with numerous people in this capacity over my life and so many of them are mean and hard to deal with. Kim was a blessing and she made the scary process of potential billing for surgery the best experience of my life.
There are good doctors in the area that just aren’t worth the trouble that you encounter with the business side of the process, but Dallas Neurosurgical and Spine has figured out how to make the entire system work.
Patient was diagnosed with sciatica, lumbar herniated disc, and lumbar spondylosis.
Any time anybody asks me about back issues I always recommend Dr. Krumerman.
I have experienced a huge improvement in my back. Since the surgery, I have lost 43 lbs. That‘s in two and a half months. I can now run and play with my kids. I’m still working on my core strength so I can continue to work in a physically demanding job…but overall I’m blessed to have had the help of Dr. Krumerman and his staff. Thank you!
Patient was diagnosed with large left L5-S1 herniated disc with S1 radiculopathy.
I feel lucky and blessed to have been a patient with Dallas Neurosurgical and Dr. Desaloms, and would recommend the practice to anyone in a heartbeat.
Dr. Desaloms truly gave me my life back after performing microdiscectomy surgery. I will be forever thankful to him. His entire staff and especially Eve Freeman were a dream to work with and made everything super easy for me, from scheduling surgery through to my follow up, and getting the necessary medical records, etc. I can’t possibly thank them enough.
Patient was diagnosed with lumbar radiculopathy, sciatica, lumbar herniated disk, and spondylolisthesis.
I will definitely recommend your practice to my friends and family.
I would like to thank Dr. Krishna Satyan for my lower back surgery. Dr. Satyan was very professional, he explained the procedure very well and did an excellent job. Very excruciating pain I was experiencing was suddenly gone. I am on my way to full recovery. Thank you Dr. Satyan!!!
Patient was diagnosed with sciatica and lumbar radiculopathy.
Dear Dr. Krumerman,
What a positive experience I had in being under your care. On June 4, 2012 at the Methodist Hospital for Surgery, you did surgery on my back to relieve the constant pain I was having. Sure enough, from the time I took my first walk on the day of the surgery, I have had absolutely no sciatica pain on the left side of my back. I have had so much more energy and it is so wonderful not to have to deal with constant pain any more. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I also have to compliment you on your incredibly efficient and professional staff. It was such a pleasure dealing with such competent individuals. In particular, I would like to thank Sonja for all of her efforts in scheduling, rescheduling and coordinating my appointments, tests, and surgery.
Finally, a special thank you and appreciation to Nan for her ongoing care to this day! She has literally been there for me 24/7. As you are probably aware by now, I have had a few intervening events in recovering from my surgery, to wit: a fractured foot and a trip and stumble in my leg cast. Even so, I have at all times felt that I am receiving the best of care and have felt very confident in following all of Nan’s recommendations and instructions.
I am so looking forward to getting out of the cast, making a full recovery from the surgery and getting back to working out, riding my horse and enjoying a pain-free life.

Dr. Taub had me at the first office visit. He sat down and explained everything to me in a manner I could understand. I decided right then he was the doctor I wanted to operate on me.
My original doctor (who I haven’t even met) decided to send me for a cerebral and spinal angiogram without discussing/explaining anything to me. Dr. Taub personally called me and advised me that it is a high-risk procedure that I probably do not need but requested that I send my other MRI’s to review with his colleagues. This has fully convinced me as to why I am sticking with Dr. Taub.
We want to express our sincere appreciation to the staff at Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine.
When we set up our appointment were told we would be informed if Dr. Jackson had any cancellations. Indeed we were called, which allowed Barry to move up his appointment. This meant so much to us to be able to see Dr. Jackson sooner.
We also wished to thank all those who preserved and succeeded in managing the notification process with United Healthcare. We know hours and hours were spent on our behalf seeking resolution and we will always be grateful to your exemplary efforts.
All of the staff was so kind and understanding.
With warmest regards,
R. & B. Winnicki

I would definitely recommend your practice to my friends and family.
This was my fourth surgery, but my first at Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine. All I can say is that this surgery was the only one that has worked. The whole staff was great, but Dr. Krumerman is the best. I have not been pain free in over 10 years and today I can say that I am. Thank you!
I would recommend DNS to my friends and family. I give the entire practice an excellent rating overall.
I would like to give a special word of thanks to Dr. Krishna Satyan. I feel great since the surgery. He has really blessed me. Thank you, Dr. Satyan, for all the work you have done and may God continue to bless the good work you are doing.

I will most definitely recommend Dr. Satyan to my friends and family. As I told him, I have not had any pain since my surgery.
All of his staff have been very helpful and very polite. Honestly, I will miss seeing everyone – they are all very sweet women, a great staff.
I will absolutely recommend Dallas Neurosurgical to my friends and family. The staff was excellent. I’d like to give a special word of thanks to Dr. Satyan, Peggy and the entire support team!

I would recommend the DNS practice to my friends and family.
Dr. Satyan restored my mobility and, in turn, helped me regain a satisfying lifestyle. He has a direct but pleasant approach that inspires confidence re procedures, and his technical skills are top-notch.
I would like to give Eilene, his nurse, a special word of thanks. I would also like to commend Kenisha who stepped into a difficult situation yet learned fast and efficiently handled processing and scheduling despite being new to this office.
I had been in severe pain for over a year, and it was getting worse. Physical therapy, epidural steroid injections and medication did not relieve my pain. Dr. Jackson performed X_STOP surgery (inserted between L4 & L5) on my back in December 2009. I felt significantly better the next day. My recovery period was very short and I was able to play golf in just 12 weeks.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Jackson and his staff for their caring attitude. He does a very good job of answering questions, and his staff is first-class.
Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine is convenient and provides excellent care. I would strongly recommend Dr. Jackson to anyone considering back surgery. He has significantly improved my life.
Patient was diagnosed with sciatica, lumbar herniated disc and lumbar spondylosis.
From our first contact, the service and attention to detail was flawless. When someone is in pain, they can tend to be crabby and hard to deal with. Any one walking in or contacting you is probably suffering. I know I was. Each person we came in contact with was patient and kind.
Dr. Krumerman had reviewed my records and presented us with all of the options of treatment. He took the time to explain my condition, the procedure, risks and recovery recommendations in a language we could understand. For such a complicated operation, organizing all of the pre-op examinations, admission process, everything was seamless.
DNS has put together a fantastic team and surrounded your practice with qualified practitioners. My experience coming from out of town was far superior to anything I have ever experienced before. Dr. Krumerman is a very talented surgeon with a great “bedside manner.” Those qualities are not always found together. Each person I came in contact with reiterated what a great surgeon Dr. Krumerman was and if they needed surgery themselves they would go to him.
You asked me if I had any suggestions that could help improve your practice. In my opinion, there is nothing to improve on.
I am so pleased with the surgeon and the staff. Everyone was so very helpful. I feel like Dr. Satyan is the best surgeon. I will definitely recommend him. Beyond Dr. Satyan, I’d especially like to thank Peggy and Eileen. Everything was great, I can’t think of a thing that I would change.
I will absolutely recommend Dallas Neurosurgical to my friends and family. The staff was excellent. I’d like to give a special word of thanks to Dr. Satyan, Peggy and the entire support team!
Patient was diagnosed with lumbar stenosis and neurogenic claudication.
Dr. Satyan took the time to explain the need for lumbar spine surgery, including the benefits and risks. He answered all my questions.
I heard the same explanation just prior to surgery and during my follow-up office visit, he again took the time to answer all questions/concerns, including continuing post-op care. With all visits, he was professional, and never in a rush.
I want to thank Dr. Satyan for providing complete relief of my back & bilateral leg pain symptoms.
I would highly recommend him!

First, let me tell you I am 65 years old and was very physically active. I looked for just the right doctor for my issues for years. I saw 6 different doctors, but the minute I met Danette and Dr. Krumerman, I knew I had found the right one. Five months later, I can walk completely without pain.
I am happier than I can even explain.
Of course, I have recommended friends and family to Dr. Krumerman. I would also like to give a special word of thanks to Sonja Washington.

I would like to give Dr. Satyan, his entire staff, Peggy and nurse Eileen, special thanks! They made each visit less stressful and educated us on everything, every step of the way. Their patience and kindness made the experience — as nerve-wracking as it was — seem routine. God bless them.
I would definitely recommend Dallas Neurosurgical to my friends and family and found the friendliness and professionalism of the staff excellent. I gave Eileen and Peggy lots of questions and they were very helpful. Dr. Satyan was great.
In July of 1997 I retired after a 33-year career in Public Education, primarily as a school district administrator in upstate New York. Just two months later, in September of 1997, when a slight tremor in my left hand and some stiffness in my neck didn’t evaporate with my separation from my “stress-producing” job, a neurologist in my small upstate NY city told me I had Parkinson’s disease.
Immediately I rushed through the stages of grieving at the prospect of losing the second half of my life to the ravages of this progressive and debilitating neurological disease.
During the next several years I was blessed with some extraordinarily sensitive and skilled neurologists as I moved about the country. I was especially happy being treated by and learning about my disease and how to master it when I moved to Northeast Texas and began my association with Dr. Richard Zweig, Neurologist, at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. By the time I landed in Texas, my disease had become more and more difficult to manage with medication alone. Dr. Zweig talked with me about alternative treatments for Parkinson’s, particularly one called Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. He had prepared me so well emotionally that when he said DBS surgery was an option for which I appeared to be very well suited at that particular time in my life, I jumped at the opportunity.
Dr. Zweig is very protective of his patients. He takes great pride in having his patients know all they can know about their disease and in becoming the best self-advocates possible. He told me of the various benefits I might expect and also was careful to inform me of the possible downsides to the surgery and the importance of having only the very best, the most skilled and experienced team available perform the procedure. He referred me to Dr. Michael Desaloms at Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine. I had the surgery on December 13, 2006. Recently I have heard from individuals who have had their DBS performed in several steps on several different occasions. My bilateral DBS, the implantation of the stimulator and all parts necessary for it to operate, were all done as one procedure in one day, and my hospitalization was very brief.
The DBS surgery was truly a miracle for me. My primary symptom, excessive and very troubling dyskinesia, disappeared and my life has been changed for the better because of it. Dr. Desaloms and his team worked together in great harmony and seemingly effortlessly. It was very easy for me to have great confidence in his skill.
Needless to say, Dr. Desaloms and DNS have my unreserved recommendation to anyone who might be considering DBS or any other neurosurgery.

Thank you!
Patient was diagnosed with lumbar radiculopathy and sciatica.
Thank you!
Satyan!!!
Patient was diagnosed with lumbar stenosis, lumbar radiculopathy, sciatica, synovial cyst, and spondylolisthesis.
Your practice is very professional, kind and well organized. I have already recommended you to friends with neurological issues. My doctor, Dr. Satyan, was the best. Not only focused, but very compassionate. He took the time to listen to our concerns, etc. He has a wonderful bedside manner, which appears to be a lost art these days.
You have given me back my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me medication and pain free after over six years of excruciating pain with trigeminal neurology.
Everyone from Eve, the nurse at the Cancer Treatment Center (Gamma Knife), and especially Dr. Desaloms. He was so kind, thoughtful, and skilled! I cannot thank everyone involved enough. The staff at the hospital (including those who just walked by) was so kind to my husband while he was waiting for the procedure to be completed. Thank you for making this event such a positive experience.
Dear Dr. Weiner –
It’s been almost six months – which I can’t believe – since microvascular decompression to relieve my trigeminal neuralgia pain, and I’m still pain free! I am so thankful for you! Your knowledge, your care and concern, everything. I can’t thank you enough for taking me on as a patient. I searched you out and you were so accommodating. Thank you, thank you!
I would highly recommend this practice to my friends and family.
I was referred to see Dr. Desaloms for surgical treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia. I had been suffering with severe right-sided face pain for over one year. Dr. Desaloms did Trigeminal Nerve Decompression surgery and I am happy to say that I am now pain free and 3 months after my surgery I am back to doing all my regular activities. Dr. Desaloms is awesome!!
I would like to thank Eve for facilitating all of my imaging appointments, clinic appointments, and surgery date. As I live in Abilene, Texas, Eve was so helpful in answering all of my questions and assisting with appointments. I would also like to express my thanks to Dr. Desaloms’ PA Ryan D’Chuha who answered all my questions, and was very attentive and caring during my post-op care in the hospital.
